Sara grew up in the small, migrant worker community of Delano, California.  It was the backdrop for Cesar Chavez and the United Farm Workers Movement in the 1960s.

Inspired to see the world, Sara fell in love with filmmaking while sailing across the Atlantic Ocean where she documented her journey across the open sea. She then used her degree from  Brooks Institute of Photography to complete her first feature length documentary in 2008 called “Cutting the Lines” about a group of teenagers who circumnavigated the globe in 1978.

She recorded the original score in Capital Records, conducted by Michael Giacchino.  To date Sara has directed in over 50 countries across the Atlantic and Pacific, and has a special knack for emotional content.

Currently, Sara is an independent director, producer and editor based in Los Angeles, California with a focus on commercials & documentaries.
